[FULL] PANAH ASMARA BERUJUNG PETAKA I DipoInvestigasi

KOMPAS.TV - The case of the sadistic confinement and torture of a woman with the initials YTR in Bandung Regency has captured public attention. The victim allegedly endured sadistic violence for more than two years by her own boyfriend, Taufik Hidayat, who has now been named a suspect. The victim was allegedly separated from her family, cut off from the outside world, and subjected to repeated violence in several different locations. So how did the victim become trapped in a violent romantic relationship for years? What was the perpetrator's true motive for committing such a cruel act? KompasTV journalist Dipo Nurbahagia personally investigated the boarding house where the victim was last held and tortured in Cinunuk Village, Cileunyi District, Bandung Regency. Together with the boarding house guard, Resa Rohendi, Dipo saw firsthand the condition of the room, which bore silent witness to the victim's suffering. Resa recounted how suspect Taufik Hidayat and victim YTR rented one of the rooms in the boarding house and the numerous irregularities that occurred leading to the suspect's cruel actions against the victim being revealed. After the case was uncovered, the boarding house guard also admitted to receiving threats from the perpetrator, ranging from intimidating messages to acts of vandalism using sharp weapons in the boarding house area. What really happened behind the boarding house door while the victim was held captive? How much control and threat did the perpetrator exert over the surrounding community? To learn about the victim's condition, who is currently struggling to recover, Dipo met with the victim's sister-in-law, Melanie Silviani. The family's account revealed a change in the victim's behavior since entering the relationship with the perpetrator, which is suspected to be the result of the perpetrator's strong pressure and control. When did the family begin to realize something was amiss? Why did the family only discover it when the victim's condition was already so concerning? Dipo visited the West Java Regional Police to determine the motive behind the perpetrator's inhumane actions. Together with the Head of Public Relations of the West Java Regional Police, Senior Commissioner Hendra Rochmawan, Dipo personally observed several pieces of evidence allegedly used by the perpetrator to torture the victim, including helmets, sharp weapons, and other items used in the series of violence. How sadistic was the perpetrator's pattern of violence over the past two years? Is YTR the only victim, or are there others who have not yet been revealed to the public? To understand the psychological side of the case, Dipo spoke with Lucia Peppy Novianti, Secretary of the Forensic Psychology Association (Apsifor). This case is not simply a violent relationship, but demonstrates a systematic pattern of control, dominance, and extreme behavior. From emotional manipulation to physical violence, the perpetrator allegedly established complete power over the victim. What really drove the perpetrator to commit such brutal violence? Could a similar pattern occur in other cases that have gone unnoticed?
