Nordisk Night under the Stars - A Hygge Wild Camp in rain and wind! Telemark 2.2LW Tent Hygge - a Danish word meaning a quality of cosiness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being (regarded as a defining characteristic of Danish culture). Nordisk held a "Night Under the Stars" event, which was to encourage everyone to just get out and spend a night outdoors - no matter where, just outside. I took part and had a 'Hygge' night in the Nordisk Telemark 2.2LW (lightweight variant) tent - which was superb. The weather conditions were testing, with strong gusty winds and heavy rain which persisted throughout the night. The scenery is very autumnal and although I visited a familiar location, this was all about just getting out there and taking part in the event. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the woodland, the fast flowing brook and winds weaving their way through the forest canopy.
