The Cinematography of Euphoria | A Reel React Edit 🎬 Euphoria is one of the most visually captivating shows of modern-age television. And it all comes down to the vision of cinematographer Marcell Rév. Fun fact: The second season was shot on 35mm film stock at the request of creator Sam Levinson, who wanted a different visual feel than the first season, which was shot completely digitally. Director Sam Levinson described the different look of each season as: Season 1 being the house party at two in the morning, and Season 2 being five in the morning, way past the point, when all the guests should’ve gone home. Because of Euphoria’s unique style amongst other shows, each episode always feels like a mini movie in itself. It is one of those rare shows nowadays that keeps me hooked from beginning to end and definitely one I would recommend if you haven’t seen just because of it’s cinematography alone.
