''The Devourer'' 100% (XXL Demon) by Whirl | Geometry Dash

A level themed around Terraria and it's calamity mod, that adds a plethora of items and bosses as well to the base game, and one of them is showcased here, The Devourer. Making something that's based off of another game is tough by itself, but Whirl managed to make this whole experience over 3 minutes long, with a game that has so much detail and nuance such as Terraria and nailed it perfectly. From the backgrounds that show all of the different biomes you can explore even having the parallax effect we're all used to seeing when moving around, to the colors of each section which are colorful and vibrant, just like the original, to the epic final battle against this giant Lovecraftian creature. The boss is hands down the best part of the level, and not just the bossfight itself, it's the fact that it's appearance is hinted at throughout the entire thing, up to the point where you can see it flying around behind the obstacles, waiting for the perfect moment to strike, I feel this adds to the tension and immerses you so much more into the world. The bossfight is just the icing on the cake, the bosses movements are fluid and accurate, it's design is perfect as well, getting even the smaller detailes right and the addition of a life bar adds to the experience as well. Overall if you're a fan of Terraria or even if you've never played it before, you should go and play this level as soon as possible.
