This Keyboard Sounds WAY to relaxing... ASMR

Fun fact of the day: Did you know that your gaming mouse or keyboard isn't just sending one signal every time you move or press a key?? Every USB gaming device has something called a polling rate!! This is how many times per second your PC asks the device, "Got any new input?" A classic office mouse often uses 125Hz, meaning it reports 125 times every second. Meanwhile, gaming mice and keyboards usually run at 1000Hz, or even 8000Hz on higher-end models!! What does this mean?? Higher polling rates can reduce input latency because your actions are reported to your PC more frequently!! At 125Hz, the PC checks for new input every 8 milliseconds, while 1000Hz reduces that to 1 millisecond!! An 8000Hz device drops the interval to just 0.125 milliseconds!! The catch?? While higher polling rates make input feel more responsive, the improvement becomes much harder to notice beyond 1000Hz, at least for most people. Higher polling rates also use more CPU power, so if you don't have enough PC resources, you could basically be shooting yourself in the foot!!
