Los Cascos Urbanos Hablan - Yauco (3/3)

Johanna Rosaly, along with historian Dr. Jerry Torres, professor and historian José Giovannett, conservationist Jenny Rivera, and the owner of a revitalized structure, Eugenio Kassim Torres, take us on a tour of Yauco, the first town where coffee was cultivated in Puerto Rico. We visit the Casa del Rey (King's House), the Catholic Church, the Casa Franceschi, the Plaza Theater, the Ideal Theater, the Amaury Veray House, the Casa Cesari, the Plaza de Recreo (Recreation Plaza), and Lluberas Park. We also visit the warehouse where machetes were stored for an attempted uprising, which was later the same warehouse used by the Americans when they invaded Puerto Rico.
