Turning AC welder into DC with a rectifier

Finally got around to this one. Bought a 200amp single phase rectifier and attached it to the AC welder. Have to admit it welds much the same, arc might be a little nicer. If anyone know what size capacitor to use for smoothing I'd appreciate the info.
