*We went looking for Green Pepe (glow-in-the-dark mushrooms), but couldn't find any (ToT) A two-day, one-night trip to Hachijojima with a friend ✌️✌️ My friend doesn't usually do mountain climbing or nature activities. Since it was my first time there, and considering my friend's safety, we didn't go too deep into the mountains. While there are records of past sightings at the locations we visited, it's understandable that we didn't encounter any living creatures this time 🤷 [Day 1] We rented a car and planned to go scouting the area with my friend during daylight hours, but the rental car company staff were so kind that they helped us scout the area! (The islanders are truly warm and friendly; I've grown to love Hachijojima, including the people.)
