Freek Smit wint twee nationale vluchten in één jaar | Het verhaal achter een unieke prestatie

In this episode, Bas Geitenbeek speaks with Freek Smit from Zwartemeer. Freek was already a guest last year after achieving the national victory at Issoudun against over 32,000 pigeons. A remarkable achievement. However, last weekend he went one step further. Exactly one year later, he won another national race, this time from Châteauroux, against more than 36,000 pigeons. An exceptional performance. In the Netherlands, the chances of a national victory are limited. To then win two within a single year is something that very few fanciers manage to do.
