Charles and Diana. Visit to Sunderland Social Service Area Office 21st May 1985 - The full tape

For anyone reading this and wanting to see a video with Charles and Diana in it. You should probably go to a much shorter, edited version which can be found here:    • Charles and Diana. Visit to Sunderland Soc...   The video was captured by staff from Globe Rentals Ltd. during the visit, by Charles and Diana to Sunderland Social Services Area Office in St. Thomas's Street Sunderland on 21st May 1985 The recording was originally made using an early model Panasonic NV-M1 VHS camcorder. The VHS tape was then given to Muriel Lloyd (Muriel can be seen in the video) by Globe Rentals's owner, Alan Chapman (Snr). Recently, Muriel asked about getting some images taken off from the recording, that's when I (Alan Chapman (Jnr)) got involved and used the VHS recording to create this video. Sorry, the quality of the recording isn't great but I couldn't find any mention of Charles and Diana visiting this location during their visit to the North-East. so hopefully some will find it interesting and useful. Please note. This video contains all of the detail from the VHS tape. It is quite long, with a lot of poor and blurry footage. And it ultimately contains only a few minutes where Charles and / or Diana are in camera. I decided to upload this full video for anyone who might have been present at this event (So wanted to look for their face in the crowd - The young lady who gave Charles a hug and a kiss perhaps) and also because it contains a short section that was shot inside the offices of Globe Rentals Ltd. They were a small, family TV & video sales and rental business. That short section shows both of my parents, Alan and Joyce Chapman as well as two of my colleagues, Tom Bainbridge and Margaret Hardy.
