Mardin Gezilecek Yerler Rehberi 2025 - Hayat Bana Güzel

With the Mardin episode of our Mesopotamia Magic series, we embark on a unique journey where history, culture, music, dance, craftsmanship, and flavor are intertwined. In Mardin, differences are not a source of division, but of richness. It's home to a cultural mosaic created by Arab, Turkish, Kurdish, and Assyrian peoples. Languages, foods, music, and life have flowed together for centuries. Mardin also captivates with the breathtaking views of the Mesopotamian Plain. Wandering through Mardin's narrow, stepped streets, under its "abbara" arches, and admiring its stone craftsmanship is a pleasure you won't find in any other city. In those streets, donkeys collecting trash and children singing folk songs transport you to a completely different time. We began our trip by exploring the layers of history at the ancient city of Dara. We discovered the kite master dancing with the wind, the Shahmaran legend etched under glass, the artisan hands behind the delicate filigree silver, and the story of sorrow and prayer behind the Reyhani Dance. For two days, we thoroughly explored Mardin, visiting its thousands-of-years-old Assyrian wine cellars, sun temples, the Deyrulzafaran Monastery, the Kirklar Church, the Zinciriye and Kasımiye Madrasahs, and its soap-scented bazaars. What are your feelings about Mardin? Perhaps you have a story to tell too. Let's connect in the comments. Don't forget to like the video, subscribe, and follow me on Instagram.
