Women in tech -- the missing force: Karen Catlin at TEDxCollegeofWilliam&Mary

Karen Catlin spoke at TEDxCollegeofWilliam&Mary, which took place on 6 April 2014 at the Kimball Theatre in Williamsburg, VA. In its second year, the theme of 'Forward' was chosen to address the subtly powerful forces that are changing our daily lives and affecting our future through our communication, our careers, and our relationships. We featured speakers of various backgrounds of disciplines, one of which was Karen Catlin, founder of Karen Catlin Consulting. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
