Tradycja, która trwa: 3 Maja we Lwowie
Lviv celebrated the anniversary of the adoption of the May 3rd Constitution. The ceremony took place at the Adam Mickiewicz monument and gathered numerous representatives of Polish organizations, diplomats, city authorities, and guests from Poland. During the ceremony, flowers and wreaths were laid, paying tribute to the creators of the Constitution and all who fought for freedom. A solemn Mass was celebrated in the Lviv Cathedral, led by the Metropolitan Archbishop of Lviv, Mieczysław Mokrzycki. A concert with children and youth was held at the Polish Cultural Center in Lviv. The May 3rd celebrations in Lviv demonstrated that Polish tradition and identity endure and connect generations. The event was organized by the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Lviv.
