Sakleshpur - Hidden places to visit in Sakleshpur | Offbeat Hill Station | Sakleshpur Travel Guide

Hello Guys, Recently we visited Sakleshpur or Sakleshpura which is a beautiful small hill station in Karnataka. Sakleshpur is surrounded by slopes covered with tea, coffee and spice plantations, western ghat mountains, waterfalls and many more. We started our journey from Bangalore to Sakleshpur by road early in the morning. The plan was to stay at Sakleshpur for a couple of days. We stayed at Rottikallu Resort which is a beautiful resort in the middle of forest and surrounded by western ghat mountains. The service and food of Rottikallu Resort was very good and they have maintained cleanliness very well. During our stay in Sakleshpur for a couple of days we covered Agni Gudda Hill or Agani Peak, Abbi Falls or Hanbal Falls, Manjarabad Fort, Daal Duddi Hill and Hanu Kolla Hill. Agni Hill or Agni Gudda Trek - The trek trail starts from Agani Village (Near Karadi kallu home stay). You can park your vehicle near this home stay and start trekking. Its a 3 to 4km trek (up and down) through dense forest and will take 30-40 minutes to reach at the top. Agni Gudda is also known as Agani Gudda or Agani Hill so don't get confused. Hanu Kolla Hill Trek - This is another beautiful hill and the trekking trail starts from Rottikallu Resort. The trekking distance is 8km (up and down) from the resort. You can ask the staffs of this Resort about the trails of Hanu Kolla. It is recommended to have a local guide along with you as the locals knows the trail very well. The trekking distance is 3km (up and down) from the resort. You can ask the staffs of this Resort about the trails of Daal Duddi, local guide is not required for this trek.
