Three students tie for top SEA spot with perfect 100% scores Three students have earned perfect scores of 100% in the 2026 Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA), each achieving a composite score of 253.423. According to Education Minister Dr. Micheal Dowlath, who delivered the keynote address at today's SEA Results Ceremony and Awards, the students are tied for first place, pending the completion of the Ministry of Education's review process. The top-performing students are: 1. Shivan Khan of Caroni Hindu School, who earned placement at Presentation College Chaguanas. 2. Shazanna Mohammed of Debe Hindu Primary School, who earned placement at Naparima Girls' High School. 3. Vivek Maharaj of Monroe Road Hindu Primary School, who earned placement at Hillview College. Minister Dowlath also revealed that 17,509 students sat the 2026 SEA examination. He said the overall improvement in student performance, coupled with stronger results across key subject areas, demonstrates that ongoing efforts to strengthen teaching and learning are producing positive outcomes. The Minister noted that more students attained exceptional scores this year, while the presence of several boys among the country's highest achievers reflects broad-based academic excellence. He described the results as encouraging and said they signal continued progress within Trinidad and Tobago's education sector. The recipients of the other special awards for the 2026 SEA examination are: 1. Katherine Ajodha of the St. Peter's Private School who Will attend Naparima Girls' High School 2. Amara Batan of the Curepe Presbyterian Primary School who will attend Lutchmi Girls' Hindu College 3. Adam Ningtan of the Montrose Government Primary School who will attend Presentation College Chaguanas 4. Liam Rajnath of Trinidad Renaissance Preparatory School who will attend Presentation College San Fernando 5. Ethan Ramlackansingh of San Fernando TML Primary School who will attend Naparima Boys' College 6.
