TAPES | Sci-Fi/Thriller Short Film

TAPES is a sci-fi/mystery/thriller short film about two friends searching for an inexplicable artifact, after finding evidence of its resting place from an old home video tape. This capstone project is my 3rd narrative short film, and a big departure from my previous ones. It's been a couple of years so I really wanted to take it up a level for my very last university project. The number one improvement I wanted to make was to develop a stronger narrative with more characters, locations, and unpredictable turning points. This was a big challenge for myself as the script I wrote required me to shoot in difficult to access and limited light situations, along with a set of VFX tricks to complete. Luckily I compiled a great team and had a blast putting this whole thing together. I’d love to continue off of this and create a mini series but I’ll have to see where I want to take it.
