1973 GMC Motorhome Episode 25 Final Drive Rebuild upgrade
I ordered the 3.70 ring and pinion set and final drive rebuild kit from Applied GMC. There were ZERO videos on how to do this, now there is one! I used the stock open carrier, and the procedure may be different for installing the popular limited slip. I do a lot of driving in the mountains and this mod is a must have! A review of the performance is to come... You will notice that the unit is put back together using less overall shimming of the carrier. this is due to slightly fatter races then the ones that cam out.
