Cil City - genuine hard rock made in Austria! Established 2013 as AC/DC-Coverband, Cil City released their first collection of originals with their debut album "Red Ocean" in 2015. Soon the band performed at renowned events such as Nova Rock Festival, Frequency Festival and Full Metal Mountain Festival, besides playing club-gigs at a regular basis. After the replacement of the rhythm section in 2017 with Cornelia Gass (bass) and Bernhard Sattra (drums), the focus was set on songwriting. Subsequently the newly formed group around the founding members Deniz Malatyali (vocals), Hal West (guitar) and Erny Hofbauer (guitar) started recording their second album "Jump off the Cliff", to be released in February 2019. The bands newly developed sound, containing Metal- and Progressive influences, was the consequence of compulsive evolution after restaffing and years of experience. Cil City's energetic music and sexy show create the perfect rock party, making the crowd go wild. Cil City is female-fronted hard rock on an international level.
