Basic English: Which or What lesson 25

This is another basic English video! In this basic English class you will learn about which and what and the difference between which and what! In previous basic English lessons of this guide, learned wh questions. What is a wh question? Wh questions are words that start with the letter w or h and we use them to ask specific question in English. For example “what is your name?” In this guide, you have already learned how to use what, where and when. Today you will learn about the question word “which” and how to use it. Then I will show you the difference between which and what! Basically when you use “which” in a question, you give limited options, for example which color do you prefer pink or blue? When you use “what” you are asking a general question, there is no limit or options. For example what is your favorite kind of food? In this question, I didn’t give you options to choose from, I want to know what your favorite kind of food is. Do you want to learn more about it?
