This Filipino Festival CHANGED ME! Saulog Tagbilaran 2019!
This was one of the craziest experiences of my life! I got invited by Tagbilaran mayor Baba Yap to celebrate their annual Saulog Tagbilaran Filipino festival with them. Similarly to Sinulog in Cebu, there is a city-wide ritual parade where all the Tagbilaran barangays show off their beautiful costumes. Finally, there is an epic dancing competition where all 15 barangays compete for the number 1 spot!
