I Didn’t Know it Was Love Bombing | A Widows Story

I Didn’t Know It Was Love Bombing | A Widow’s Story After the almost kiss, I faced a 15-hour drive home alone with my thoughts. I couldn’t stop thinking about him. The calls became more frequent. The attention felt wonderful. After losing my husband, I wanted to believe that maybe God was giving me a second chance at love. What I didn’t know then was that some of the things that felt so special would later reveal themselves as warning signs. In this deeply personal chapter of my story, I share how I went from a grieving widow to a woman falling in love again—and how I missed the red flags that others may have seen. If you’ve ever experienced love bombing, narcissistic abuse, emotional manipulation, or ignored your gut because you wanted something to be true, I hope my story helps you feel less alone. Have you ever looked back and realized there were signs you missed? Share your story in the comments. Your experience may help someone else.
