For many decades, he has traveled the world, spreading knowledge about permaculture, the science of creating sustainable systems, which he developed in the 1970s (together with David Holmgren). Permaculture weaves together many disciplines and fields of knowledge such as ecology, soil biology, water management, crop production, livestock, architecture, construction, energy efficiency, economics and legal forms, marketing and meeting human needs, creating inextricably linked productive communities. Mollison has proven that even in the most difficult conditions, permaculture gives people the opportunity to transform abandoned, empty lands into forest gardens. The film "Global Gardener" consists of four half-hour episodes. Each episode examines examples from different bioregions of the world: 1. "TROPICS" - Mollison introduces us to the basic principles, and shows results in Australia, India and Zimbabwe. 2. "DESERTS" - reversing desertification in Arizona, Botswana and Australia. 3.
