5 TRUQUES para ser bom com DINHEIRO

Did you know that your brain could be boycotting your wallet? Learn 5 tricks to "trick" your brain and manage your money better: . #1 – All “free money” should be invested . What does free money mean? It’s money that you weren’t counting on, for example: a tax refund, a bonus or prize you receive, a reimbursement of expenses that the company refunds or even discounts that you can negotiate when buying something. If you “erase” this money from your mind and treat it as if it weren’t yours, you’ll finally be able to start investing it and earning interest instead of paying interest! And what’s more, money that you’re not expecting is usually spent on nonsense. You think: “oh, I didn’t have that money anyway, so I’m going to spend it!” Don’t let your brain play this trick on you. Invest all “free money” from now on. . #2 – Use cash instead of a card . It may seem strange to say this in the 21st century, but you need to do this exercise so that you understand the dynamics of a purchase. When you pay with a card – whether debit or credit – you don't feel something called “pain of paying”, so you end up spending more than if you were paying with cash. Try withdrawing cash to pay for your purchases and you'll see how you'll start to think better about your choices! . . #3 – Set an amount and a day to pay yourself . Instead of setting aside a monthly budget that you're going to save a thousand reais and then realizing that you didn't manage it, start with smaller goals that you can actually achieve. For example: every Friday you're going to pay yourself 50 reais. For this to work, you'll need to spend less during the week (saving 10 reais per day) or you'll spend less on the weekend, first ensuring that you pay 50 reais for that week. With smaller and more frequent goals, your brain will get used to saving and you will notice that each week it will be easier to save money. Once you get the hang of it, you can increase your payment! . . #4 – Reduce stress to reduce spending . You already know that when you are stressed, you are much more likely to act on impulse and this also has to do with shopping. When you are anxious, sad, or with your patience running out, you end up allowing yourself to buy things that, if you were feeling good, you wouldn't buy. That's when you eat what you shouldn't, spend more than you should and then regret it, generating even more stress. This tip is quite obvious, but it requires discipline to put it into practice: don't buy anything when you are stressed. Avoid going to the supermarket, walking around the mall or buying online. Try to do something that relieves stress and keeps you far away from your wallet! . . #5 – Go "shopping" in your own closet . Take everything out of your closet, put it on the bed, spread it out on the floor or arrange the pieces so that you can see each one. You will "find" pieces that you didn't even remember and it will look like you just bought a new outfit! Also, try putting together different looks. Try that blouse that you only wear with pants with a skirt or shorts, that way, you will "win" a new look! .
