As things stand today, such a mission is, of course, impossible. But the idea is appealing, so we can still embark on a virtual journey today. Using our imagination and drawing on the latest scientific data that our astronomers have collected over the years, we set off on a journey to the planet GAYA 21b, which is more than 9,000 light-years away. Some time ago, Walt Zweifel and Aeoline composed a soundtrack for an art exhibition in Switzerland. And once the exhibition ended, the question arose as to what should become of the piece. (The original version is nearly 40 minutes long) Our passion for exploring and discovering new worlds then led to our story about journeys to distant worlds. Following Bach in Space and the Aeoline Miserere Trilogy, we now transport the listener to the world of GAYA 21B, a planet very similar to Earth, set just 100 million years before our time and somewhere far away in our Milky Way.
