Don't Research Everything
In this video, I tackle one of the biggest problems resellers face: inventory overload. I had more than 100 clothing items sitting in front of me, and instead of immediately researching sold listings, I started with something much simpler. I organized. From Harley-Davidson shirts and vintage NASCAR apparel to NASA jackets, sports gear, graphic tees, and collectible clothing, I went item by item to identify patterns, brands, themes, and buyer groups. Most people think research begins with pricing. I've learned that research often begins with understanding what you actually have. When inventory starts piling up, researching every item individually can become overwhelming. By taking a step back and looking for patterns first, you can identify which items deserve deeper research, which items may work well as bundles, and which items should move to the top of your listing priority list. If you've ever felt overwhelmed by clutter, inventory, garage sale finds, thrift store purchases, estate sale items, or storage unit treasures, this process may help you create a simpler system. The goal isn't to become an expert on every item. The goal is to avoid making costly value mistakes and make smarter decisions. What would you do first if you were facing a pile of 100+ items? Let me know in the comments. Before you donate it, toss it, or sell it...
