Chicken Steaks with White Sauce | Quick Chicken Steaks Recipe | Steaks with Veggies

Simple Chicken Steak Recipe Preparation time: 10 mins | Marination: 30 mins Ingredients Chicken Breast: 3 pieces (halved or flattened to 1/2 inch thickness) Salt: To taste White Pepper : 1/2 tsp Black Pepper: 1/2 tsp (freshly crushed is better) Red chilli : 1 and half tsp Crushed red chilli ; 1 tsp Garlic Paste or Powder: 1 tsp Oil or Butter: 2 to 3 tbsp Gently pound the chicken with a meat mallet or a heavy pan. This ensures the chicken cooks evenly and stays tender. In a bowl, mix the chicken with salt, black pepper, garlic paste or powder , white pepper , red chilli and crushed red chilli. Let it rest for at least 30 minutes (2 hours in the fridge is ideal for better flavor). Place a non-stick pan or grill pan over medium-high heat and add the oil or butter.Once the pan is hot, place the chicken pieces in. Cook for about 5–6 minutes on each side. Do not flip them too often; let a golden-brown crust form first. Once cooked through remove from the pan and let the steak rest for 2–3 minutes before serving This keeps the juices inside. For white sauce : Butter : 1 tbsp Oil : 1 tbsp Garlic cloves : 4 to 5 crushed Milk : 1 cup Cream : 1 cup Maida : 2 tbsp Salt : 1 tsp or to taste Black pepper : 1 tsp White pepper: 1 tsp Crushed red chilli : 1 tsp Chicken powder : 1 tsp In a pan melt butter and add garlic paste. Fry till golden and add maida or all purpose flour. Cook for 1 mint and add milk and cream along with all spices. Cook for another 7 to 10 mints. Keep the sauce runny and remove from stove.
