Irish Rock Band "Boyzone" Invades World News Now Newsroom. Singing, Dancing...But Wait For It!

One of the best things about anchoring the show WORLD NEWS NOW back in the day was the unpredictability of the guests. That was the fun part for me. I LOVED it when things went "off page" during an interview. The night Boyzone came to our studio I was up for anything. That was a good thing because when one of the singers pulled me up to dance on the main WORLD NEWS set ( yes, Peter Jennings was the anchor then) I thought SURE! Now -- it was a good thing my big bosses were ok with it and had a good sense of humor or else it could have been CURTAINS for Ms. Blake.
