After its exit from the Argentine market in 1999, the Silverado left a legion of fans and followers awaiting its relaunch. It was formally announced in the summer of 2020, only to be thwarted by the pandemic. It was shown again in the summers of 2021 and 2024, and finally in December 2024, after 25 years off the market, GM relaunched its pickup truck in two versions: the Z71 and the High Country.
