Five young people on their way to becoming elite hoteliers: They are completing their training at the renowned Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne. The five-part "DOK" series follows their rigorous studies, their nightmares in the kitchen, their internship blues, and their individual challenges. In the final episode, Emma, ​​Alexandre, and Alex complete their internships and take their re-examinations. Will they all pass their first year? Annina and Afrim have already done it: Annina graduates from EHL with High Honors, and Afrim dreams of owning her own restaurant. The preparatory year students finish their internships and take their re-examinations. Will they all pass their year? Will the transition to the world of work be as successful for the graduates as they had hoped? Annina and her SBP team present a Student Business Project so brilliant that many a management consultancy could learn a thing or two from it. As a reward, they even get to present their thesis to the management of a major bank. Annina achieves her ambitious goal of graduating with high honors and even finds a job at a famous Bern hotel. Afrim dreams of owning his own restaurant, but initially gets by with various odd jobs and experiences his Swiss naturalization with irony and gratitude. Emma changes her internship because she feels she isn't being treated fairly at the Geneva hotel. At the Lausanne lakeside restaurant, Emma gives her best during the busy season. Alexandre stumbles over his character during his internship; his suggestions for improvement are perceived as arrogant and disrespectful. His long and arduous preparatory year ends with him failing his re-examinations. Alex is shocked by how his boss takes his frustration out on interns. However, he has fun swimming in Lake Geneva with his twin brother. At the end of the semester, he realizes he isn't cut out for the hotel world. Around half of EHL graduates choose a management career outside of the hotel industry.
