Made a quick visit to the historic waterfront city of Annapolis during our travels in May 2026 🇺🇸⚓ Known as the capital of Maryland and America's sailing capital, Annapolis is filled with colonial history, beautiful waterfront views, and charming downtown streets. During our visit, we explored some of the city's most iconic landmarks: 📍 Annapolis City Dock The heart of downtown Annapolis, surrounded by historic buildings, shops, restaurants, and scenic harbor views. A perfect place to stroll and enjoy the waterfront atmosphere. 🏛️ Maryland State House The oldest state capitol in continuous legislative use in the United States and a beautiful example of colonial architecture. ⚓ United States Naval Academy One of the most prestigious military academies in the country. Although we didn't have enough time to tour the campus, it was impressive to see this historic institution from the outside. We also spent time wandering through the charming streets of downtown Annapolis, enjoying the historic architecture, waterfront views, and relaxed atmosphere.
