It's a little funny to me because, this song was the VERY FIRST song I wanted to edit Monster too. However, I didn't feel comfortable editing with such an intricate and beautiful song without understanding Monster in its full complexities. Now, I've watched the series 4x, read the sequel novel 2x and read through the manga once. 4 analysis essays on Johan later -- I finally felt capable of editing this amv for him. At first, this was going to be just a "Monster AMV" but the more I listened to it, the more I realized this song represented Johan entirely. Down to the symbolism of a "beautiful crime."
