PENSAMOS que el Escarabajo VW NO Iba a PASAR

We thought our 1966 Volkswagen Beetle wouldn't make it through this road. Giant rocks, loose gravel, and a single decision that could end the trip. Thus begins this nomadic adventure, living in a classic car converted into a motorhome, traveling through Chile with my dog Hanny, our partner in crime and adventure. We woke up to an incredible landscape at the Embalse del Yeso reservoir in the Cajón del Maipo. We opened the door of our camper, and the mountain reminded us why we chose this lifestyle. We walked, reflected on the journey, and understood that traveling isn't always about arriving… sometimes it's about enduring. Then came the challenge: an extremely gravel road, rockfalls, and a point where the Beetle faced an obstacle that seemed insurmountable. We got out, assessed the terrain, and set the camera to capture the real moment, uncut, without epic music… just reality. In the middle of the mountains, we have breakfast, a coffee that tastes different when you earn it meter by meter. We also show you how much it costs to fill up your gas tank in Chile in dollars, one of those hard facts that no one mentions when talking about living a nomadic life. The route takes us to Santiago, Chile, where some fans welcome us into their homes. We explore the historic center, its plazas, its history, and try the traditional mote con huesillo (a traditional Chilean drink). From there, we continue on to Valparaíso for one of the most important classic Volkswagen events in the country. Beetles, Kombis, Brasilias… and a simple question that says it all: 👉 What does Volkswagen mean in one word? If you're interested in learning how much it costs to live a nomadic life, what it's like to convert a classic car into a motorhome, and experiencing the real side of the nomadic lifestyle, this video is for you. Thanks for joining us so far 🤍 Share this adventure, and we'll see you on the next route… as long as the Beetle keeps rolling.
