In this documentary, I take you on a journey through Bayelsa State, exploring its rich Ijaw culture, unique local cuisine, ongoing infrastructure projects, and the remarkable transformation taking place across the state. We visit the newly completed Yenagoa New City and compare its progress from 2025 to 2026, showcasing how modern infrastructure is reshaping the capital city. We also travel through Ekeremor to see the massive road construction projects that are opening up communities, reducing travel time, and creating new opportunities for economic growth. Along the way, we experience the warmth and hospitality of the people, learn about the distinctive Ijaw language and culture, and taste local delicacies such as Opruflo and Kekefia, foods that tell their own story about life in the Niger Delta. This journey reminded me that Nigeria is filled with incredible places, cultures, and stories that often go unnoticed. Bayelsa is one of those places that can completely change your perception of what is possible in our country.
