Exploring the old mines beneath Tombstone, AZ
So this past weekend, many of the Tecopa Mines crew went down to Tombstone, Arizona to see the Good Enough and Tough Nut mines that are part of the over 500 miles of mines beneath that historic town. Our team member Andrew Keepers works there when he’s not up here or busy with his actual real life. These minds are managed by Robert Ellison, a local legend and true great guy. We got to see some of the more interesting. Two or areas of these two mines and even go through and off the tour route passage that connects the mines but requires about 50 feet of crawling on your hands and knees. (Thanks Andrew!) Robert actually has a dinner theater in the mine that service vintage miners’ grub with a show underground, and it’s likely the only such dinner show in the country. I cannot recommend these minds enough should you be in the area, the end of course, Tombstone and nearby Bisbee are both chock full of history and have tons to see and do. It was a nice working vacation for us and we had fun as you’ll see on the video.
