Adi Sankara Jayanti Celebration - One Day National Seminar | Valedictory Session Srimat Adi Sankaracharya, the great philosopher and spiritual luminary, laid a strong intellectual foundation for Hindu thought through his profound exposition of Advaita philosophy.His teachings , which present a rational and universal interpretation of the Advaita doctrine, continue to inspire generations of seekers, scholars and young thinkers. In commemoration of the birth anniversary of Sri Adi Sankaracharya, which falls on 21 April, A seminar was organised by Chinmaya International Foundation Shodha Sansthan in collaboration with Janmabhoomi Daily on Monday , 20 April at Adi Sankara Nilayam, Chinmaya Seminar Hall, Piravom.The seminar was inaugurated by Shri Rajendra Viswanath Arlekar, The Honourable Governor of Keralam. The Adi Sankara Jayanti Celebration was organised as a one- day seminar focusing on the relevance of Advaita philosophy in promoting Global peace, harmony and social unity. The programme was well- structured and conducted with active participation from scholars, dignitaries, students and attendees.
