【鹿児島・桜島】火山の迫力と足湯に癒された、最後のキャンピングカー旅。

This is our Kagoshima & Sakurajima journey. We started the day in Tarumizu, stopping by roadside stations and relaxing in a free footbath, slowly easing into the day. Visiting Sakurajima was overwhelming in the best way. Standing in front of an active volcano, we were reminded of how powerful and beautiful nature can be. At Roadside Station Sakurajima, we also found an unforgettable yakitori rice bowl — one of those small moments that makes traveling so special. After that, we took the Sakurajima ferry to Kagoshima City. The city was much bigger than we expected, and although there were places we wanted to visit, traveling with our campervan and dogs made us decide to leave the busy area and head somewhere quieter. We eventually arrived at a peaceful roadside station in the countryside, where we spent the rest of the day inside our campervan. This trip was special for another reason — it was our final journey with this campervan, and also our last campervan meal. After so many memories made on the road, spending an ordinary, quiet day together felt like the perfect way to say goodbye.
