Sermon Title: Restoring Identity and Joy in God's Family Supporting Sermon Points & Minutes: 1. The Father Restores Our Identity, Not Just Forgives [48:09]: Explains the second part of the series on God's Family, which focuses on how the Father restores the identity of His returned children, not just by granting forgiveness. [51:09]: Affirms that no matter how bad a child's actions or past, a "child is still a child" in the eyes of his father. [54:14]: God not only forgives our past sins, but He truly restores our standing and identity as His children, not with the mentality of a slave or hired hand. [01:01:13]: Living as children means ceasing to serve or worship out of fear or simply to be "accepted," but rather doing so because we know we are already loved and adopted as His children. 2. The Father's House is a Place of Joy and Restoration [01:06:30]: The third point explains that the Father's house is a place of joy and restoration, as illustrated by the attitude of the youngest child's father who immediately held a party and shared a meal together instead of interrogating or judging his son's mistakes. [01:10:25]: The church and family should be a place of acceptance for hurt people so they can find love again, not a place of judgment. [01:13:06]: The home and church should not be places for gossip or spiritual competition to determine who is best, but rather places to serve others with humility. 3.
