HELGAS BAND LIVE

Senior female vocalist of the famous Helgas Band, Gou Gaoma getting prepared to perform at the recent Central Music Festival at Kwikila Station in Rigo District, earlier in May. The renowned yet famous Helgas Band is from a small inland village called 'Gabadi', in the Central Province of Papua New Guinea. Helgas was one of the first bands to record with CHM Super-sound Studios in the early 80s. Helgas band was formed over 30 years ago but is loved, cherished and embraced all throughout the beautiful Island of Papua New Guinea. The video recording was done by Max Meauri Ox and re-published by the PNG Bulletin team for promotional purposes to the Central Music Festival that happenned in Kwikila station, Rigo District.
