Minister Carol Pusey was born and raised in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, where her passion for service first led her to a career in nursing. After three years in healthcare, she pursued her childhood dream of becoming a Police Officer, serving with distinction in the Jamaica Constabulary Force. Her roles spanned multiple divisions including the Criminal Investigation Bureau, Narcotics, Highway Patrol, Traffic Enforcement, and the Court System; where she developed a deep compassion for those in crisis. Saved at the young age of 12, Minister Pusey's journey has been one of resilience and unwavering faith. Through the trials of life (including the trauma of divorce and the miraculous healing of her daughter after doctors declared she would not survive) she stands today as a living testimony of God’s grace and restoration. Driven by a calling to minister hope and healing, Minister Pusey went on to earn her Master of Divinity with an emphasis in Christian Leadership and Church Ministries. She further completed four units of Clinical Pastoral Education through a rigorous residency program. Today, she serves as a board-certified chaplain at a Level I trauma hospital, walking alongside patients and families during some of their most critical moments. An ordained minister with the Church of God of Prophecy in Hartford, Connecticut, she currently leads the Women’s Ministry and actively evangelizes in local communities, ministering especially to the homeless. Minister Pusey is a proud mother of two daughters and a joyful grandmother. She recently authored two powerful books, The Story of an Overcomer and From Pieces to Peace, aiming to inspire others to discover the beauty of healing, the strength of resilience, and the hope that rises from life’s greatest challenges.
