I visited Kutno station, where I saw the station, the station building, and—most importantly—train traffic. And there were plenty of them! Passenger trains, freight trains, and solo locomotives (lightweights). Kutno boasts trains from as many as five passenger carriers: Koleje Wielkopolskie, Koleje Mazowieckie, Polregio, PKP Intercity, and Łódzka Kolej Aglomeracyjna. Due to the nearby terminal, freight train traffic is heavy, and intermodal trains hauled by various locomotives can be observed. The star of the episode (and this was the plan before arriving in Kutno) was the TLK Flisak train, hauled by an EP09 locomotive that day.
