We arrived in Madrid by campervan, where we're staying at Camping Osuna – a convenient base for exploring the city. We took the metro towards the city center… whether that'll work out remains to be seen! 😅 In the heart of Madrid, we visited the Almudena Cathedral, an impressive building with a beautiful interior. Then we walked to the Basilica of San Francisco El Grande, where the dome, a whopping 30 meters wide, was particularly impressive – beautifully painted and definitely worth a visit. After a brisk walk of over 15,000 steps, we take the metro back to the campsite, tired but satisfied.
