Discover 6 incredible cenotes in the Yucatan Peninsula (near Merida). We share all the names so you can visit them too! The town of Homun is known as 'The Ring of Cenotes'. We honestly had no idea this place existed until we heard of it from our walking tour guide in Merida, and when he described it, we knew we had to visit! I mean, there are over 300 cenotes in Homun. That's crazy! We didn't experience any crowds at any of these cenotes and ended up having the best day ever, thanks to our local guide Carlos, who is from Homun and very proud of his Mayan heritage. He shared a lot of interesting information with us and we learned so much from him that day. We would do it ALL OVER AGAIN!
