Kuala Besut to Perhentian Islands || Malaysia

Perhentian Island can be accessed from Kuala Besut. This would be the usual entry point. The Islands are located around 21 KM from Kuala Besut and can be reached by both speedboat or ferry. Boats will take you directly to your destination wherever it may be on the islands and the trip takes around 30-45 minutes. All travellers to the island must pay a Marine Park Conservation Charge (Marine Park Ticket) of RM5 for locals and RM30 for foreigners. This ticket is paid at the Marine Park counter in the Kuala Besut Jetty, so pay this BEFORE you get on the boat. It will be a bumpy ride (by speedboat) depending on the condition of the sea.
