Tickle Tillage

Chopping and mixing, mixing and chopping. Really like this new tool! The purpose of doing this type of tillage is to speed up the breakdown of cornstalks so nutrients aren’t tied up for the upcoming soybean crop to be planted next spring. Another reason is to fill up any small ruts, level the field, and size residue to the planter will have a smoother ride and less to cut through in the spring, resulting in more consistent, and accurate seed placement.
