1 HIKE & 7 WATERFALLS: Erawan Falls Kanchanaburi Thailand 🇹🇭

Our last day in Kanchanaburi 🇹🇭 turned into 1 HIKE & 7 WATERFALLS. The hike to the top wasn’t always easy (is it ever?) but level after level we made our way from one gorgeous waterfall to the next! Erawan Falls, is in fact not 7 singular waterfalls but one massive waterfall broken up into 7 levels. The landscape in which the waterfall flows is reason for this divide. But trust us, every single level is different from the last thus feeling as if you’re at 7 totally different waterfalls. Typically, certain levels are reserved for visitors to swim. However, due to heavy rain the day before the currents were too extreme so swimming was not allowed. That also goes without saying that the waters, which are usually a beautiful emerald blue color, were in fact mirky brown due to heavy rain. All of that aside, Erawan Falls was beautiful, powerful, and a great way to end our time in Kanchanaburi, Thailand! If you are visiting Kanchanaburi make sure to add Erawan Falls to your must-see places! It’s located in Erawan Falls National Park and only a short drive from city center. Do however make sure to hike in proper shoes, not sandals please, as the paths are not always manicured and the water causes everything to be slippery.
