The POCO F7 Pro is a true powerhouse, and frankly, I don't see what could possibly cause it to struggle. I measured a 16% increase compared to the previous model, and in that respect, it's clearly a phone that has no trouble handling all the daily tasks. Raw power isn't everything. What also surprised me was the heat management. I pushed it to the limit for eight minutes, and it reached 93 degrees, without slowing down, without crashing, nothing. Yes, it gets hot, which is normal, but not to the point of being hot or uncomfortable in the hand. Another strong point: connectivity. Network reception, Wi-Fi, and GPS are well above average. POCO was sometimes behind in this area, but this time, they've corrected their errors. The screen is still as good as ever. The basic colorimetry is good, and with a few adjustments, you can achieve something near-perfect. The contrast is good, the resolution is ultra-dense, and most importantly, it goes up to 120 Hz with compatibility with most HDR formats. The battery charges ultra-fast. In normal use, the battery life is decent, but as soon as you push the phone a little too hard, you quickly realize that it's power-hungry. If you're a heavy user, don't expect exceptional endurance. The sound is also a pleasant surprise. The quality is excellent, both for calls and music. The sound power isn't incredible, but the advantage is that distortion is almost non-existent. The sound is clear and well-balanced. In terms of photography, POCO has used the same sensor as the previous generation. The photos are good, and videos can go up to 8K, but the software processing is too aggressive for my taste. The sharpness is there, but the colors are sometimes overblown. At a similar price, a Samsung will produce better photos without having the same power. In terms of design, POCO has further improved its craftsmanship. The assembly is clean, and visually, I think it's a pretty successful phone. So yes, this phone doesn't have any major flaws, but there are still a few things to be aware of. First of all, as always with Xiaomi, there are plenty of pre-installed apps. This makes the home screen a bit cluttered, and honestly, it's a bit overwhelming. Then, the night mode is decent but not exceptional. For a phone in this range, you'd expect better. Even in broad daylight, the photo processing is a bit overdone. For a more natural rendering, it's best to disable AI and HDR. Battery life could be disappointing. The battery is 20% larger than average, but since the phone uses a lot of power, you won't gain 20% battery life. This isn't a bug; it's just a logical consequence of such a powerful processor. And finally, one last point that remains unknown: durability. For now, it handles high temperatures well, but will this have an impact in the long term? It's hard to say.
