The flowers have fallen, but the mountain has grown deeper. On Buddha's Birthday, I climbed Mt. Hambak. Starting from the entrance of the KBS Communication Tower, it was only 1km to the summit — On that path, short but by no means light, the azaleas were bidding their final farewell. 1,573m above sea level, a blue sky, fluffy clouds, and ridges spread out in layers. And after descending the mountain, I found Jeongamsa Temple, a temple 1,400 years old. I clasped my hands in front of the Five Great Halls of Nirvana, and quietly bowed my head beneath the Sumano Pagoda. I had no grand wishes.
