We went on a hike in the beautiful Hermigua valley on La Gomera (Canary Islands) and it turned out even better than we expected. The day started with crazy wind and Sahara dust, so we weren’t sure if it would work out at all... but we found a calm spot in the north of the island and decided to give it a try. This hike had everything - lush green valleys, misty forests, waterfalls, palm trees, and iconic rock formations. It really felt like stepping into a completely different world at times.
