Un viaje a las raíces de los ALEMANES del Volga -📍 Colonia San Miguel
In this new adventure of Wandering Wind, we continue delving into the fascinating history of the Volga Germans and arrive in Colonia San Miguel, in the district of Olavarría, Buenos Aires province. After learning about the history of Colonia Hinojo, the mother colony of the Volga Germans in Argentina, we wanted to continue discovering how this community left its mark on the region. Colonia San Miguel welcomed us with its beautiful architecture, traditions, landscapes, and a cultural identity that remains vibrant after more than a century. We strolled through its streets, visited the town museum, and learned more about the history and customs of this community, which is part of Buenos Aires province's cultural heritage. We also had the opportunity to stay and enjoy afternoon tea at Casa de Piedra, a charming place that combines a guesthouse, a tea house, and an antique shop, creating a unique space to relax and travel back in time among objects steeped in history and memories of bygone eras. Casa de Piedra → / casadepiedracsm We also visited their antique shop, one of those places where every object seems to have a story to tell. For those who love antiques, check out their Instagram → / almacen_de_objetos_csm 🚶♂️ Among historic houses, traditions, nature, and the warmth of its people, we discovered why Colonia San Miguel is one of those towns that invites you to linger a little longer. 📍 Colonia San Miguel is located a few kilometers from the city of Olavarría, in the heart of Buenos Aires Province. 🗓️ Video filmed in May 2026. 🔔 Subscribe to our channel for more adventures and turn on notifications so you don't miss any videos. https://www.youtube.com/@viento.erran... 📸 Follow us on Instagram too → / vientoerrante 👍 Like this video if you enjoyed it. 💬 Tell us in the comments: Did you know the story of the Volga Germans and the colonies of Olavarría? #ColoniaSanMiguel #Olavarria #VolgaGermans #RuralTourism #TownsOfBuenosAires #ArgentineHistory #TravelArgentina #CharmingTowns #vientoerrante
