#HeadlightPainting #YoshidaWorks #DIY Numerous cracks appeared in the headlights of a Toyota Noah 70 series. Starting with 240-grit waterproof sandpaper, I used a Black & Decker Reviva Sander (10.8V) to prepare the base, working from 240, 400, 600, 800, and 1200 grit sandpaper. To finish, I used Holtz Tough Urethane for Headlights (150ml). However, unlike my usual 99 Kobo Urethane Clear, it had a low viscosity and was quite runny. Dripping occurred after the third coat, and after a fourth coat, the paint ran out, causing horrible drips and paint breakdown... Then, while working outside, a sudden shower hit, leaving a mess of raindrops and white spots. However, with some miraculous polishing techniques, I was able to make a miraculous recovery! In the end, the headlights were restored to their original shine. This time, I worked without removing the headlights. Enjoy learning from mistakes and the realities of DIY repair! We'll introduce various repair and DIY projects. This also helps with low beam measurement, as headlight inspection standards will be tightened starting with vehicle inspections from August 2024.
